Do you want to meet the Greek Freak?
If your answer to that is “hell yes” — which is the only answer to that — I’ve got good news for you. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will participate in a free meet-and-greet in Stoughton this Wednesday (April 27).
The indomitable Giannis, pictured above with Gregg Kunes, is scheduled to sign autographs at Kunes Country Buick-GMC of Stoughton from 5-7 p.m. The free event is first come, first served. If you show up during that time period, you’ll get a (non-personalized) autograph from one of the NBA’s leading MVP candidates.*
The Bucks are closing out a landmark regular season, with Mr. Antetokounmpo as the driving engine. Still sitting at No. 1 in the East, the Bucks last week were crowned Central Division champions for the first time since 2001. To his credit, the Greek Freak is averaging 27.5 points and 12.7 rebounds a game, while also being voted into his third-straight All-Star Game.
If you do take this opportunity to meet Giannis, please be courteous and refrain from sneezing or coughing near him. And certainly do not touch him or even breathe on him too hard. The Bucks really need Giannis going into the playoffs, and therefore cannot afford to have him sick or injured. Think of it as your civic duty.
